МОЛОДЕЖНЫЙ КАМЕРНЫЙ ОРКЕСТР YOUTH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA of the Honoured collective of Russia of St. Petersburg Philharmonic Academic Symphony Orchestra
A major impetus for the creation of a new chamber group, which debuted on March 11, 2020 on the stage of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic's Grand Hall, was the encouragement on the part of Maestro Yuri Temirkanov.

The new group has brought together young musicians from St. Petersburg who work in the famous Philharmonic Orchestra. The group maintains creative and friendly atmosphere that formed already during its members' studying years, when they played music together in different chamber ensembles.
The main goals of the newly born orchestra are to preserve the traditions of the country's oldest symphony orchestra, to prepare young musicians to collaborate with world-class soloists and ensembles, and to perform modern and rarely heard compositions.

Known as a child prodigy as a child, she overcame considerable obstacles and became one of the brightest pianists in the world. Tchaikovsky and laureate of the youth prize "Triumph", rightfully awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist of Russia". Until recently she was the first violin of the "Soloists of Moscow"ensemble under Yuri Bashmet. Having become independent, she achieved impressive success in the field of solo and chamber performance. Elena Revich is a frequent guest of the best concert halls in the world, a welcome soloist of many famous symphony groups, and an outstanding ensemble player in a wide variety of chamber programs.
The duet of Elena Revich and Polina Osetinskaya was formed many years ago. Artists not only give concerts together, but created a variety of joint programs designed not only to delight, but also enlighten the audience. Their assets include "Meta Bethoven" and "Cinema Music", "Silver Age" with the participation of Alexander Gadibin and Yana Ivanilova, "Mayakovsky and Zabolotsky" with the participation of Anatoly Bely.
The Flowers and Fairy Tales program included rarely performed works by outstanding Russian composers who, in some way, but undoubtedly, were connected with each other. Tchaikovsky's favorite student, Taneyev, taught music theory to Rachmaninov and Metner. Rimsky-Korsakov's student, Arensky, taught him harmony. Another student of Rimsky-Korsakov, Stravinsky, also emerged from this environment.
Their exquisite, subtle music perfectly reflects the time of transition from musical symbolism to acmeism, which means “flowering”. The search for new forms, like that wonderful era expressed in music, gives us a rare opportunity to come in touch with the outstanding heritage of these composers.
